Chuck Connors, star of the 1950sTV show "The Rifleman", visited Walla Walla on April 2 1960 to speak at a luncheon at the Marcus Whitman Hotel, ride in the parade aboard the Walla Walla 59ers stagecoach, give a demonstration of his rifle handling skills, and appear on stage at the Auto Show in the new Fairgrounds Expo building.
