Waldheim, the Baumeister House, on Stone Street just off South 2nd Avenue, was built by Henry Osterman in 1896 for Maxmilian and Alvina Baumeister who were married in New York in 1880 when she was 18 and he was 40. Photos courtesy of Roger and Julia Russell.
