Tompkins family grain elevator was built in the 1920s as the first privately-owned concrete elevator in Washington State. It is still in place about 5 miles NE of Clyde on the Lyons Ferry highway, and now owned by the McGregor Company. Photos courtesy of Ronald Tompkins.
