War Memorial (WWI) building constructed in 1938 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) for the American Legion.

Little Theatre bought the building in 1948 and the Legion moved downtown.

 

Early history of the property that now contains The Little Theatre also reveals that a County Pest House was likely on that site prior to 1900, by Steve Wilen.

Whitman College performed "Guys & Dolls" here in 1958 because their theatre was destroyed by fire.
