Circus truck broke down while passing through town on June 19, 1966. The trainer released the two elephants for an impromptu show while the truck motor was repaired at Jim and Dean Bradstreet's Mobil gas station at Clinton and Isaacs. File photos courtesy of the Union-Bulletin.
