Bygone Walla Walla: vintage images of the City and County (and beyond), collected by Joe Drazan: McCaw Army Hospital closed in 1945. Surplus buildings sold and moved in 1948 to many locations around town. The gymnasium was sold to Stanfield (Oregon) for $250 where it was reconstructed in 1952 for use by the High School.
